Finally our Spokane Show update from last weekend!
We absolutely loved spending time with our Spokane friends at Christel Carlson's wondeful facility  and with her chickens!! They came to pick up their grain in the morning too!
Barb Featherstone-Sparks's was the FEI Champion with her R. Cessna scoring 66.974 and 67.308 at PSG. Getting closer to that 70% mark!
Cynthia McKim and her Varden also had a solid PSG test with a clean line of 3 tempis (Yay!!!!) scoring over 60%.
Stephanie Jaymes Bonney and Lise Madson's stallion H.S. Warado won the Dover Medal and their Second Level 3 class.
FiveStar scored a solid 69.565 in his qualifier for the Developing PSG even though he lost a shoe doing the warm up! Definitely not our lucky day but we still moved up to #16 on the National Ranking List. Now we wait....
I decided to use this show as a back to basics opportunity for my Dumble horse and we were rewarded with the Third Level Champion title and an average over 70%. Very happy with him!
Liz Smith's Santina was a total rock star winning all her classes with scores of 81%, 78% and 75.385%. So excited for the future with my Big Red!
Little Red aka known as
Laurie Britten
's Solaire couldn't let Santina have all the fame and won First Level Champion and all her First Level classes with scores of 75.882, 73.971 and 72.963 and helped me to score a 9.0 on my seat and aids from both judges. My Wonderpony
I also got to show Linda Burke's up and coming young event horse La Belle Amie and she improved greatly this weekend scoring up to 67.727. A little more work on relaxation and confidence in the ring and we'll have a winner!
The judges also awarded me with a beautiful horse blanket for the Best Seat award
Next we are headed to the National Championships in Chicago with Harvey and hopefully (fingers and toes crossed!!!!) with FiveStar as well.

FiveStar, Dumbledore and I are very excited about our amazing grain from LMF Feeds! This Idaho based company continues to impress me with their high quality products and fabulous customer service. We also had the opportunity to discuss and tweak our feeding program with Equine Nutritionist Dr. Duren. #lmffeeds

We survived our first Level 3 show here at Les Bois Dressage! A huge Thank You to the our amazing volunteers, especially manager Nancy Roche, sponsorship chair Sharon Mace and Michelle Mifflin Surkamer and volunteer coordinators Barb Featherstone-Sparks and Nancy Weaver. Go Team!!
Two of my students earned their medals this weekend: Cynthia McKim got her final two Prix St Georg scores on her wonderful mare Varden and is now officially a USDF Silver medalist! Linda Burke and her former event horse Reveille rocked Third Level and they now have their USDF Bronze Medal! Very proud of all four of them ❤
Barb Sparks had an other great show at PSG on her impressive R. Cessna scoring as high as 67.895 and winning the Adult Amateur High Score of the day on Sunday.
Cindy Phelan and Seijon won the Saturday Adult Amateur High Score of the day and their Third 3 class with a score of 66.795 and their Fourth 1 class on Sunday with a 65.811. Well done!
Peggy Forman showed her black beauty Dona Wuanita in three very harmonious First Level tests and won Sundays First 3 class with 66.785. It's getting hot in here! ;)
Leslie Hornocker made her successful Second Level debut on her German Riding pony Caspari Royale winning both her classes. I got to show him on Sunday in Third 3 which he also won with a 67.436.
Super stallion H.S. Warado earned Dylan Mandolesi her second Second Level score towards her Bronze Medal and Stephanie Jaymes Bonney her first Second Level score. This boy's temperament amazes me every day! What a good stallion!
Mich Green and her Galena earned all her First and Second Level scores towards her Bronze Medal in one weekend!! Huge accomplishment!! Third Level next :)
Laurie Britten showed both her girls beautifully with scores as high as 68.265.
Nancy Weaver earned her second qualifying score for Regionals on her talented youngster Harvard R on Saturday and on Sunday I got to take Harvey into the FEI 5 year-old test. He was his usual perfect self and scored a whopping 8.2! Talent and brain born in the USA!!
I got to show all three of Liz Smith's big fancy mares: Arista aka "Pumpkin" continued to amaze me yet again winning her First Level debut with scores in the 70s. Santina got a little scared of the big atmosphere during the freestyle but did a great job with her Second Level classes winning both of them with scores in the 70s. For Shilo it was her first show ever after only 2 months of Dressage training. She stepped up to the challenge and scored a 72.174.
Nancy Roche's Saphyra and I won both Second 3 classes with 70.610 and 70. Getting stronger and more balanced every week!
Cynthia McKim's FiveStar was absolutely amazing in the Saturday night Pacific Northwest High Performance Dressage Freestyle Gala. He loved the atmosphere and tried so incredibly hard for me. We were rewarded with the winning score of 72% for our Intermediaire 1 Freestyle. On Sunday he did it again in the Developing PSG earning a score of 71.029. So so proud of this talented young FEI horse!
My little Miss Fancy Pants Serafina won all three of her classes with scores of 79, 75.227 and 73.6. Perfect 4 year-old!! Thank you to Joli Griffith and Carol Griffith for breeding this fabulous mare.
My Dumble horse earned a 66.91 at the Developing PSG with a couple of green bobbles :)
Looking forward to the Boise River Dressage Show at Once Upon A Horse in three weeks!
